Stitch Up Some KC Spirit!
Get ready to stitch up some KC spirit! In this fun, beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to create an envelope-style pillow with a professional-looking bound edge. We’ll walk through each step together—from pillow construction to adding the binding—and you’ll leave with a finished pillow ready to show off!
All fabric materials are provided, including a fun Kansas City football-themed quilted fabric. Just bring your sewing machine and your basic sewing supplies, and let’s get stitching!

Kansas City football-themed fabric selection is first come, first served and subject to availability. You may submit your preferred fabric selection when completing checkout, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Please note that fabric selections and quilting patterns may vary from those pictured based on current availability.

Pick Your Pumpkin: Stitch Your Way is a beginner-friendly seasonal quilting class where you will be able to select from different pumpkin block sizes and turn your finished block into either a pillow or table runner. The class is designed to give you a fun introduction to piecing, while showing you how to customize your project with options to applique embellishments. Leave with a finished—or nearly finished—fall project you’ll be excited to display. Class includes discount on longarm quilting.

You’ll need a variety of pumpkin fabrics in 2–6 colors, along with a dark fabric (brown) for the stems, green fabric for the leaves and background fabric. The suggested fabric requirements below are based on the number and size of pumpkins you plan to make.
6" Block - Per Pumpkin
Background: Fat quarter
Pumpkin Strips: 2 Fat quarters or various scraps - 1 1/4 x 3 3/4 (4 total)

We’ll walk you through the basics of cutting, piecing, pressing, and assembling your quilt top while you create a project that’s approachable, fun, and full of personality.
Batik fabrics are recommended for their beautiful color and texture, but you can easily make this quilt your own with your favorite Christmas fabrics. Choose traditional reds and greens, go with a wintery palette, or mix it up with something completely different! Pattern included!

Our kids sewing classes are designed especially for our Little Farmhouse Makers—young creators ready to explore the fun of sewing, making, and learning something new! Through age-appropriate, hands-on projects, kids will build foundational sewing skills, grow more confident using a sewing machine, and experience the pride of creating something with their own two hands.
From single-day workshops to multi-day camps during school breaks, each class offers patient instruction, small-group support, and plenty of room for creativity. Projects and skill levels will vary, so be sure to check each class for specific age and experience requirements.
No sewing machine? No problem! Machines and the basic supplies needed for each project are provided unless otherwise noted.

Skills: Getting to know your way around a sewing machine, threading, straight stitching, backstitching, seam allowance, and basic machine safety.
Students will learn the basics of operating a sewing machine and practice controlling their stitching before creating their first project—a quilted bookmark.
The bookmark pieces will be pre-cut, quilted, and string-stitched, allowing students to focus on learning how to sew, finish the edges, and add their own creative touches.
Take-home project: One finished quilted bookmark

No problem! Sewing machines are available to rent when you reserve your spot.
