And yes—this one is beginner friendly! Whether you’re comfortable quilting your own fabric or would rather start with everything already quilted and ready to sew, we’ll help you create a beautiful bow you’ll be proud to hang on your door.
Best of all, you get to make it your way! Choose from a whole-cloth, patchwork, or hybrid version to fit your holiday style.
Whole-Cloth Bow
Let a favorite holiday fabric be the star! This option gives your bow a beautiful, continuous print with quilting adding texture and dimension.
Fabric Needed:
1½ yards fabric for the front
1½ yards fabric for the back
2 yards batting
Patchwork Bow
Mix and match coordinating fabrics for a cozy, scrappy quilted look. Dig into your stash or choose a collection of Christmas prints that work beautifully together.
Fabric Needed:
1 total yard of assorted fabrics for the front
1 total yard of assorted fabrics for the back
2 yards batting
Hybrid Bow
A little patchwork + a little whole cloth! Combine several fabrics on the front while keeping the back a single coordinating fabric.
Fabric Needed:
1 total yard of multiple fabrics for the front
1½ yards fabric for the back
2 yards batting
We’ll also have pre-quilted kits available to purchase for $20.
This is a great option for beginners or anyone who wants to spend class time focusing on constructing and finishing their bow. Your fabric will already be quilted and ready to turn into your oversized holiday bow!
We will be using The Big Giant Reversible Quilted Bow by LindseyGrace for this class.
Each attendee must purchase their own copy of the pattern prior to class. The pattern is not included with class registration.

Bring your selected fabric, batting, purchased pattern, sewing machine, and basic sewing supplies. If you purchase one of our $20 pre-quilted kits, you can skip bringing the fabric and batting and arrive ready to start constructing your bow!
Farmhouse sewing machines may also be available to reserve if you need one.
During class, we’ll work through constructing, shaping, and assembling your oversized bow—including those big loops and tails that turn it into statement-making holiday décor.
