Pick Your Pumpkin: Stitch Your Way is a beginner-friendly seasonal quilting class where you will be able to select from different pumpkin block sizes and turn your finished block into either a pillow or table runner. The class is designed to give you a fun introduction to piecing, while showing you how to customize your project with options to applique embellishments. Leave with a finished—or nearly finished—fall project you’ll be excited to display. Class includes discount on longarm quilting.
General Materials Needed:
Rotary cutter

Fat Quarter & Scrap Friendly! 🎃
You’ll need a variety of pumpkin fabrics in 2–6 colors, along with a dark fabric (brown) for the stems, green fabric for the leaves and background fabric. The suggested fabric requirements below are based on the number and size of pumpkins you plan to make.
6" Block - Per Pumpkin
Background: Fat quarter
Pumpkin Strips: 2 Fat quarters or various scraps - 1 1/4 x 3 3/4 (4 total)
Leaves: 1" × 2" green scraps
Stem: 1" × 1" brown scraps
12" Block — Up to 3 Pumpkins
Background: 1 fat quarter*
Pumpkin Strips: 2–6 fat quarters
Leaves: 1 green fat quarter or 7" scraps (1-3)
Stems: 1 brown fat quarter or 2" scraps (1-3)
18" Block —Up to 2 Pumpkins
Background: 1/4 yard*
Pumpkin Strips: 2–6 fat quarters
Leaves: 1 green fat quarter or 10 1/4" scraps (x2)
Stems: 1 brown fat quarter or scraps 2" (x2)
* Planning to turn your block into a larger pillow? Consider adding additional background fabric to allow for the extra size.
